Surbana Jurong opens new global headquarters in Jurong Innovation District
The development has been rewarded the Building and Construction Authority’s (BCA) Environment-friendly Mark Platinum Super Low Power and BCA-Health Promotion Board Green Mark Platinum for Healthier Workplaces for its initiatives in sustainability and advertising healthier lifestyles. This includes providing end-of-trip establishments, like onsite bike racks and showers.
The campus covers 1.2 million sq ft in built-up place and can fit 4,000 employees and the broader group all over 10 towers. The campus is anticipated to house employees from various entities in Singapore under one threshold.
Surbana Jurong revealed its new overseas central office, the Surbana Jurong Campus, in CleanTech Park inside the Jurong Innovation District. The center was officially opened up on March 13, with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong in attendance.
Sean Chiao, Group Chief Executive Officer of Surbana Jurong, claims that the campus serves as a living laboratory for innovating services and pressing the boundaries of lasting property development. “In Surbana Jurong Campus, our different expertises team up to resolve our clients’ most complex issues, fulfilling our purpose, Real influence, made together.”

The campus was created by Surbana Jurong’s architects in cooperation with Safdie Architects to show the concept of a “campus in nature.” Previously an undeveloped greenfield location, the campus has been designed to preserve majority of its remaining environment-friendly space. Built-up eco-friendly areas were changed with rooftop yards, lush indoor gardens, and extensive outside landscaping.
The 10 towers are interconnected by a pedestrian pathway and closed courtyards, making it possible for all-natural light and fresh air to circulate thru. The development features facilities like a 1,000-seater multipurpose location, a junior ballroom, roof terraces, a group reception, table tennis, and an upcoming health club center.
